IRDM Pro (2Tb) produced by Goodram works on Phison PS5018-E18. The internal SSD storing a data location map on Dynamic-Random Access Memory DRAM Buffer to launch a programs faster. The IRDM Pro comes equipped with 3D TLC memory. This NVMe is offered also in 4 Tb and 1 Tb capacities.

Performance and benchmarks

Goodram IRDM Pro use PCIe M.2 4.0 x 4 interface with sequential read speeds 7000 Mbps, and sequential write speeds equals to 6800 Mbps. This model has IOPS 700000 on writing and 650000 on reading operations per second.

The Goodram IRDM Pro has DRAM Buffer. Dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) in their controller help to improve endurance and input/output performance.

The Goodram IRDM Pro 2Tb due to the high density of memory chips requires installation of additional heat sink. This decrease temperature of the memory chips and controller. Some motherboards or laptops from the factory has thermal pads below or above the drive for better performance during high loads.
