The RC500 comes equipped with Toshiba TLC flash memory. NVMe SSD besides, available in 250 Gb and 500 Gb capacities.

Performance and benchmarks

SSD works on PCIe M.2 3.0 x 4 interface with sequential write speeds equals to 1600 Mbps, and sequential read speeds 1700 Mbps. It also has input/output performance 355000 on reading and 410000 on writing operations.

RC500 (1Tb) produced by Kioxia may work on PCIe 3.0 that is twice slower than PCIe 4.0. The maximum write speed is 1600 Mbps, that is slower than has most of competitors. Weighing all these factors, Kioxia RC500 1Tb has more disadvantages and we highly do not recommend to spend money for it.
